Manuel Gerber, PhD MSc MA

Dr Gerber is the Managing Director of Prime Art Management Ltd., an econometrics-driven asset management and art market analytics company specialising in the primary market for emerging art and operating PRIME ART FUNDS. An experienced collector of European and American contemporary art, he pioneered quantitative research on primary art market economics at London Business School. Prior to co-founding PRIME, he was a Senior Lecturer at the University of Berne and an independent consultant for private sector and government clients in Europe, the US, the Middle East and Asia with special focus on advanced remote sensing solutions and general R&D. He holds a PhD (summa cum laude) in Near Eastern Archaeology and Ancient Near Eastern Languages from the University of Berne and an MSc (Sloan Fellowship) in Management and Business Administration from London Business School.
