Jeremy Howard is Head of Research and Exhibitions at Colnaghi, the well-known dealers in Old Master Paintings.  After fourteen years in the commercial art market, first at Christie’s and then at Colnaghi, Jeremy became a Lecturer in History of Art at the University of Buckingham, where he taught a special subject on the history of collecting and the art market. He recently returned to Colnaghi after fourteen years as an academic and has lectured and published widely on aspects of the history of collecting. More recently he curates exhibitions at Colnaghi on the theme of The Artist in Art and Landscape painting in Italy.
