David Breuer-Weil was born in London in 1965 and studied at the Central Saint Martins School of Art and Clare College Cambridge. He worked for Sotheby's for nine years, becoming a director and specialist in Impressionist and Modern Art. David later joined the private dealership of de Pury and Luxembourg Art in Geneva, where he was involved in putting together the Pisces Art Fund of Contemporary Art.
